Daniel Swartz
Daniel Swartz recently retired as the development principal for the Quadrangle Development Company. Involved in development, construction, and finance throughout his career, he has held prestigious positions with the David Geffen Company, Hileman Company LLC, McCormick Investment Trust of Chicago, Park/Fifth Partners, Summa Corp., Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, and First Chicago Corporation. A graduate of the University of Michigan with master's in Business Administration and Bachelor of Architecture degrees.
He is a member of various organizations covering architecture, design, energy, and urban development. He is a board member and Treasurer of the Southern California Institute of Architecture, board member of the Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning Deans Advisory Board, and past member of FilmLA and the Los Angeles Downtown Center Business Improvement District. He has served as the chairman of the Los Angeles Community College District Bond Oversite Committee and the City of Rancho Mirage Historic Preservation Commission. He is a founding board member of Preservation Mirage.
