SCI-Arc's biannual career networking event connects professional partners in the architecture and design fields to a pool of talented and enterprising students.
Open Season is held in early Spring and in the Fall during Graduate Thesis Weekend.
Different than a traditional career fair, Open Season is a student exhibition in which student participants pin up work in the South Gallery, selecting what best exemplifies their skills and interests.
The school invites employers, including studio principals, hiring managers, and alumni, to the exhibition’s opening reception, where they can meet the students and see their work. Additionally, guests are given flash drives with the students’ resumes and portfolio samples so they can contact them directly after the event.
Every year, students report having made valuable connections during Open Season that helped land them their first job. If you or a representative from your firm would like to attend the next Open Season, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
