SCI-Arc Partners with PBS to Present Engaging Earth Focus Series Screening Event
SCI-Arc is proud to be partnering with PBS to present “River Perspectives,” the new season of locally produced environmental series Earth Focus. This season of Earth Focus provides an in-depth look into the relationships between California's wildlands and urban infrastructure and how community leaders are reimagining the Los Angeles River’s role in its surrounding neighborhoods.
Join PBS SoCal for an immersive event hosted at SCI-Arc, featuring interactive ecology activities, oral histories from communities along the river, a pop-up VR exhibit, a screening introduced by show producers, and more. Attendees can watch new episodes from Earth Focus Season 5 and join LA River Arts for a poetry workshop. Additionally, guests can participate in activities led by various community partners, including Friends of the LA River, Clockshop, the Ontario Museum of History and Art, Metabolic Studio, the Arroyo Seco Foundation, and dublab.
“River Perspectives” is free and open to the public, offering an engaging opportunity to learn, eat, and enjoy a relaxing and enlightening Sunday evening fit for all ages. RSVP here.
