Kappe Library December Reading List Highlights Imago Mundi, Indigenous Cultures
This December, SCI-Arc’s Kappe Library recommended reading list includes a small selection of titles from the Fondazione Imago Mundi contemporary artists collection, which features small artworks by contemporary artists from 173 regions around the globe. Commissioned and collected by Luciano Benetton, each book features an individual collection of commissioned artworks from one country, group of countries, or culture. Of the 146 monographs donated to the Kappe Library, developing nations, indigenous cultures, and places and peoples mostly outside the global art market are heavily represented.
