Urban Pasts and Futures Lab generates fresh approaches to the pressing problems facing cities today and then incorporates these into the curriculum through the development of new courses and public programs.
Research projects target such urgent urban issues as poverty and homelessness, transportation and aging infrastructure, equity and social justice, the fading of relied-upon industries, and the arrival of promising new ones.
