Students that have already applied for and received their first 12 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT) may apply for the STEM Extension. The process is guided by you and your employer so be sure to read all instructions on the Study in the States Website under “STEM HUB” for details.
Please note-only those with current OPT approval may apply and only beginning 90 days of your current OPT end date.
