On Thursday, June 26, during the AIA National Convention, SCI-Arc alumni from the first graduating Class of ’74 to the most recent Class of ’13 gathered with friends of the school for a reception at the Art Institute of Chicago. The evening marked the opening of “Architecture to Scale: Stanley Tigerman and Zago Architecture” at the Institute, and before the reception, guests had the opportunity to hear about the exhibition from both Tigerman and Zago, a SCI-Arc faculty member and trustee. In Terzo Piano, the museum’s restaurant, alumni who were in town for AIA, as well as alumni living in Chicago and friends of SCI-Arc, enjoyed an evening of connecting and catching up against a background of terrific views of Millennium Park and Michigan Avenue.
