As SCI-Arc's Director of Recruitment & Outreach, I oversee all aspects of the school's admissions outreach, with a focus on promoting SCI-Arc's unique culture, academic programs and application process. I serve as a SCI-Arc ambassador at visits to high schools, colleges and education fairs both locally and around the globe, advising prospective students from a wide range of backgrounds as they explore education and career options in architecture.
Sandy Frigo, Director of Admissions
As SCI-Arc's Director of Admissions, I enjoy working with all of our applicants throughout their admissions process, from the time they submit their application until they become SCI-Arc students. When our candidates decide to come to SCI-Arc, they set off on an incredible adventure. They want a school that is unique in nature, a creative environment where they can thrive as they pursue their educational goals, and a real-time commitment both inside and outside the classroom. SCI-Arc offers all of that—and so much more. Come see what we're all about.
Rachel Wagmaister, Admissions Coordinator
As the Admissions Coordinator, I have the pleasure of meeting and assisting new students with the admissions process. It’s exciting to know that with each applicant I work with I am adding to the creative community at the school. One of the best and unique parts of my job is working with our talented international students as they prepare to begin their academic careers at SCI-Arc and in the US. SCI-Arc is truly a unique place to be part of and I am really looking forward to working with you soon!
Jamie Black, Admissions Assistant
As the Admissions Assistant at SCI-Arc, I work with new applicants and incoming students, walking them through the admissions process and application, and responding to all their admissions related inquiries. Most of all, I enjoy expressing the passion of SCI-Arc students and their love of architecture to those who are interested in pursuing a degree in the field. I look forward to hearing from prospective students with any questions or concerns related to applying to SCI-Arc and the various programs that our school has to offer.
Maria Huerta, Recruitment & Outreach Assistant
In my role as Recruitment and Outreach Assistant, I interact with prospective students and the public interested in SCI-Arc and architecture at large. I attended Ontario High School in California before venturing cross-country to attend Princeton University, where I graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in Architecture and a minor in French Language and Culture. My commitment to architecture and to making a difference in the community brought me to SCI-Arc, where I hope to use my passion and knowledge of architecture to instill a sense of curiosity in the students I work with as a way of encouraging them to engage the world around them.
