Patterns Launches 'Embedded' in Los Angeles

Embedded, a new publication from PATTERNS, the architecture and design practice of SCI-Arc faculty Marcelo Spina and partner Georgina Huljich, will officially launch with a discussion on Thursday, February 23, 6-9pm at the Vitra Showroom in Los Angeles.

Embedded brings together authors, contributors, mentors and confabulators to discuss some of the most relevant issues haunting contemporary architectural practice and discourse today, such as the perceived divide between progressive design culture, the politics of forms and social responsibility.

Hosted by the LA Forum, the LA book launch event welcomes special guests Marcelyn Gow of Servo LA and SCI-Arc, Michael Osman of UCLA, and Todd Gannon of SCI-Arc.

Vitra Showroom is located at 8753 Washington Blvd., Culver City, CA 90232.
