Pasadena Home Entryway by B+U Featured in LA Times

A lighted entryway designed for a Pasadena home by faculty members Herwig Baumgartner and Scott Uriu of Los Angeles-based BplusU was recently featured by LA Times.

The glowing canopy is a striking, sculptural entryway meant to double as a gathering space for entertaining. The 60-foot-long cantilevered steel structure is clad with a white translucent fabric and lighted by LEDs from within, casting a soft, scarlet glow at night. Made of fabric sourced from Venice, Italy, it is wind and weather resistant.
