On Thursday, July 12, the A+D Museum in Los Angeles will premiere their third installment of the summer exhibition series COME IN!
Entitled COME IN! les femmes, the exhibition features 25 women designers, hailing from each of the design disciplines, who have been invited to transform the museum with their brilliant installations.
SCI-Arc faculty exhibiting include Elena Manferdini of Atelier Manferdini, who will show her new line of textiles titled “Secret Gardens,” and Emily White (M.Arch 2 ‘06) of LAYER. Alumni featured are Lilliana Castro (B.Arch ‘08) of Archeffect Design, Cathy Johnson (M. Arch '05) and Rebecca Rudolph (M.Arch '00) of Design, Bitches, and Iris Anna Regn (M.Arch ‘94) of Durfee-Regn.
An opening reception is scheduled July 12, 6-9pm (admission $10 general, $5 students). COME IN! les femmes remains on view through September 8. The A+D Museum is located at 6032 Wilshire Blvd.
